Fairview is a town located in Collin County, Texas. Located in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex and home to just under 5,000 residents, Fairview is a great small town that lives up to their motto: "Keepin it Country".

Fairview Education

Fairview is partly covered by three different school districts. The majority of the town on the east side is part of the Lovejoy Independent School District while smaller portions are served by the Allen Independent School District and the McKinney Independent School District.

Fairview History

The Town of Fairview was incorporated in 1958 with a population of 50. Since that time it has grown steadily to today's population of just under 8,000. The community is marked by large houses on large lots, expansive open spaces, numerous horse farms, excellent schools, rolling hills, expansive hardwoods, and beautiful creeks. Fairview Nature

Fairview is immediately adjacent to the Heard Wildlife Sanctuary. This 289-acre natural habitat is home to hundreds of species of amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles. It also boasts well over 100 different types of wildflowers and other plant life.
